Faculty of Physical Therapy Holds Orientation Ceremony for New Students
Under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mostafa Gorab – University President, and Professor Dr. Eman Elazizi – Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Faten Hassan Abdelazim – Dean of the Faculty, the Faculty of Physical Therapy celebrated the new male and female students with an orientation ceremony on Sunday, 21/9/225.
The ceremony commenced with:
The National Anthem.
A melodious Quranic recitation by one of the faculty's distinguished students.
The event witnessed a distinguished attendance, including:
Prof. Dr. Karim Ahmed Fathy – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
Prof. Dr. Ehab Kamal Zaid – Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ali El-Shafei – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Heads of the scientific departments at the faculty.
Dr. Walid Saber Hussein – Faculty Youth Pioneer (Faculty Advisor for Student Activities).
Mr. Ahmed Allam – Director of the University's Youth Welfare Administration.
A number of faculty members and teaching assistants.
The ceremony included:
🎤 A welcome speech delivered by Her Excellency the Dean, Prof. Dr. Faten Hassan Abdelazim, in which she welcomed the new students and highlighted the prospects, developments, and promising opportunities in the field of Physical Therapy.
🎤 An awareness seminar on Academic Advising presented by Dr. Shaimaa Farghaly – Director of the Faculty's Academic Advising Unit.
🎤 A comprehensive awareness session on Youth Welfare activities presented by Mr. Ahmed Allam – Director of the University's Youth Welfare Administration, and Dr. Walid Saber Hussein – Faculty Youth Pioneer, where they reviewed the student, sports, cultural, and social activities.
The students were also taken on a tour that covered:
🏫 The faculty premises and its modern laboratories.
⚽ The university's playing fields and sports facilities.
🏥 The medical examination locations to facilitate the check-up procedures for the students.
