 Physical Therapy Faculty Shines a Light on World Cerebral Palsy Day

In fruitful cooperation between the Pediatric Department (Dr. Shaimaa Shawki) and the Training and Continuing Education Center, headed by Prof. Dr. Tamer Ibrahim Abou El Yazid, the Faculty of Physical Therapy at 6 October University celebrated World Cerebral Palsy Day.

The Scientific Day on Cerebral Palsy
Under the Title: "Cerebral Palsy Implication and Rehabilitation"

Our event featured presentations from a select group of professors and physicians in the field. Key speakers included:

Dr. Mohamed Rezk (Lecturer, Neurology Department - Faculty of Medicine, 6 October University)

Lecture: "Cerebral Palsy: From Diagnosis to Rehabilitation"

Dr. Sally Ashraf (Lecturer of Pediatric Physical Therapy - Cairo University)

Dr. Mahmoud Osama (Lecturer of Pediatric Physical Therapy - Cairo University)

Beyond the Lectures:
As part of our social responsibility, the following activities were organized:

Comprehensive awareness campaign about Cerebral Palsy.

Free medical checkups for cases at the Faculty's Pediatric Physical Therapy clinic.
