Faculty of Physical Therapy Organizes and Shines at the First Student Activities Festival of the Medical Sector at October 6 University 🏆✨

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,
and under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Faten Hassan Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty, with the supervision of Prof. Dr. Karim Ahmed Fathy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs,
and Dr. Walid Saber Hussein, Youth Activities Coordinator of the Faculty.

The Faculty of Physical Therapy organized, on Sunday, December 7, 2025, the First Student Activities Festival at the level of the university’s medical sector faculties.

The festival witnessed strong competitions and a high level of sportsmanship among the faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, and Health Sciences in the fields of Holy Qur’an, football, table tennis, chess, singing, and drawing.


Competition Results

First: Holy Qur’an Competition

A) Memorization of the Entire Qur’an:

  • 1st Place: Faculty of Medicine and Surgery – Student Helmy Ramadan Helmy

  • 2nd Place: Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine – Student Omar Abdel Aziz Mohamed

  • 3rd Place: Faculty of Nursing – Student Youssef Ahmed Saeed

B) Memorization of Half of the Qur’an:

  • 1st Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Al-Zahraa Sherif

  • 2nd Place: Faculty of Health Sciences – Student Habiba Mohamed Youssef

  • 3rd Place: Faculty of Nursing – Student Ahmed Hossam Mohamed

C) Memorization of One Quarter of the Qur’an:

  • 1st Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Hoor Salah El-Din Ahmed

  • 2nd Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Hager Mahmoud Saeed

  • 3rd Place: Faculty of Nursing – Student Abdel Rahman Gomaa


Second: Drawing Competition

  • 1st Place: Faculty of Pharmacy – Student Shahd Gaber

  • 2nd Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Haneen Sayed Mostafa

  • 3rd Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Habiba Ahmed Abu El-Fotouh


Third: Singing Competition

  • 1st Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Fares Khamis

  • 2nd Place: Faculty of Nursing – Student Ahmed Mohamed Ibrahim

  • 3rd Place: Faculty of Health Sciences – Student Abdel Rahman Ayad


Fourth: Chess Competition

A) Male Students:

  • 1st Place: Faculty of Dentistry – Student Ibrahim Mahmoud Zidan

  • 2nd Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Khaled Ashraf

  • 3rd Place: Faculty of Medicine – Student Abdel Rahman Walid

B) Female Students:

  • 2nd Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Enas Yasser

Fifth: Table Tennis Competition

  • 3rd Place: Faculty of Medicine and Surgery – Student Firas Al-Shammari

B) Female Students:

  • 1st Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Mariam Al-Qass

  • 2nd Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy – Student Mariam Fady

  • 3rd Place: Faculty of Medicine and Surgery – Student Jumana Gharib


Sixth: Five-a-Side Football Competition

  • 1st Place: Faculty of Medicine and Surgery

  • 2nd Place: Faculty of Nursing

  • 3rd Place: Faculty of Physical Therapy


The day concluded with a wonderful artistic concert performed by Maestro Ahmed Awad and the University Choir, during which Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi and Prof. Dr. Faten Abdel Azim honored the winners and distributed medals.
