The Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, 6th of October University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty, and organized by Dr. Sara Abdel Aziz, Lecturer in the Journalism Department at the Faculty, hosted Dr. Maha Salah El-Din, Head of the Information Verification Department in Data Journalism at Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper, as part of a symposium on "Media Misinformation in Light of Modern Technology"
In which she discussed types of information, and information verification before and after publication, amidst student interaction in discussions.
