The Faculty of Mass Communication at 6th of October University hosts the media professional and broadcaster Heba Al-Abasiri.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication and Communication Arts, the Faculty of Mass Communication and Communication Arts organized a symposium entitled "TV Presentation Skills", in which the media professional Ms. Heba Al-Abasiri spoke, who was received and welcomed by Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi. Ms. Heba Al-Abasiri spoke about her career as a broadcaster on many major satellite channels, and she also shed light on the importance of culture and reading for the media professional and learning more than one language. She explained the most important keys to building the personality of a successful media professional, stressing that the most important thing that distinguishes a successful media professional is diligence and perseverance.
In a beautiful gesture, Ms. Heba Al-Abasiri thanked all the media pioneers who helped her with advice throughout her career, and she also attributed the credit to her parents in shaping her personality. This symposium witnessed a great turnout from the students of the Radio and Television Department, and Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid honored Ms. Heba Al-Abasiri by handing her the college shield in the presence of the faculty members, staff and students of the college. The symposium was organized by Dr. Fatima Abu Al-Fotouh, lecturer in the Radio Department, and Ms. Fatima Mahmoud, assistant lecturer in the department.
