The Sustainable Development Club at the Faculty of Mass Communication, October 6 University, holds a workshop on candle making using recycled materials.
The Sustainable Development Club at the Faculty of Mass Communication and Arts held a workshop today on candle making using recycled materials. The workshop was supervised by Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty, and organized and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Rala Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty, faculty members Dr. Maha Shabana and Dr. Lobna Ahmed, and assistant faculty members Ms. Israa Mohamed Ibrahim and Ms. Ahed El-Saeed.
The workshop addressed the manufacture and recycling of scented candles using environmentally friendly products. Third-year students Aya Nasser and Mona Ezzat, Public Relations and Advertising Department students, gave a practical demonstration of the manufacturing of these products. The workshop was also attended by club members.
The workshop aimed to raise environmental awareness and support the principles of sustainable development among students.
