She also expressed the importance of many Egyptian people knowing how valuable they are abroad and appreciating the various countries of the world for the Egyptian mind. The symposium also addressed many of the challenges facing Egyptian women in the American academic world.
The symposium was moderated by A. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the College, coordinated by Dr. Shima Abu Mandor, a teacher in the Department of Journalism and A/Medha Al-Shahidi, appointed by the Department of Journalism, in the presence and interaction of a large number of students of the College.
