 The Faculty of Mass Communication at October 6 University participated in the media coverage of the development convoy to Barqash Village, Imbaba Center.

Under the auspices of Prof. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of October 6 University, and Prof. Hesham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs,
the Development Convoys Committee at October 6 University organized a convoy to Barqash Village, Imbaba Center, Giza Governorate, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, headed by Prof. Mohsen Abi El Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and Chairman of the University's Development Convoys Committee. The convoy included several medical sectors, with the Faculty of Medicine participating in four specialties: internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, and dermatology. The Faculty of Dentistry also participated with a team that included diagnostics and awareness campaigns against oral and dental diseases, in cooperation with the International Federation of Dentistry (FDI). The Faculty of Nursing measured blood pressure and blood sugar levels for all convoy visitors. The Faculty of Physiotherapy played a major role in treating muscular diseases, back pain, and rheumatic diseases among the visitors. The College of Pharmacy team dispensed medications to all visiting patients, which was well-received by the villagers and met with great interest. The College of Media and Communication Arts covered the event inside the medical center and assisted the organizing colleges in scheduling patient admission to the clinics. Participating from the College of Media and Communication Arts were Dr. Maha Shabana, an instructor in the Journalism Department, and Ms. Fatima Mahmoud, an assistant instructor in the Radio and Television Department.
