The Faculty of Mass Communication organizes a field visit for its students to Al-Ahram Foundation to learn about the mechanisms of journalistic work.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty, the Faculty of Mass Communication and Arts organized a field visit for its students to Al-Ahram Press Foundation. This visit reflects the faculty's commitment to developing students' skills, honing their practical experience, and linking academic aspects with professional application.
The visit included a tour of several vital departments at the foundation, including the Al-Ahram Archives, the Microfilm Department, Al-Ahram Studio, and the printing press. Students were introduced to the stages of newspaper production, from news gathering and drafting, through journalistic production, to printing and distribution. They were also given the opportunity to learn about the foundation's rich history and its pioneering role in documenting local and international events.
The visit was organized by Dr. Rashed Salah Abu Ramia, Lecturer in the Journalism Department, Ms. Reem Al-Masry, Assistant Lecturer in the Radio and Television Department, and Ms. Israa Ibrahim, Assistant Lecturer in the Public Relations and Advertising Department. This visit is part of the college's strategy to prepare qualified media professionals with field experience that keeps pace with developments in the media labor market.
