 The October 6 Media Festival for Media Production honors the great artist Mohamed Sobhi and the creativity of students in media colleges.

 
Under the patronage and presence of Professor Dr.Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of October 6 University, Professor Dr.Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, Professor Dr.Yasser Dakrouri, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Mr.Dr.Dina Farouk Abu Zaid, Dean of the College of Media and Communication Arts at the University.
The International Media Production Festival was launched at the Faculty of Mass Communication, October 6 University, and witnessed the honoring of the festival’s guest of honor, the great artist Mohamed Sobhi, where he gave an inspiring speech in which he spoke about the role of constructive media in building and evaluating the behaviors of members of society, and the importance of paying attention to young people and building humanity, pointing out the importance and role of the media in Shaping community awareness, and the festival’s media personality, Mr. Ahmed Al-Muslimani, Chairman of the National Media Authority, was also honoredNaila Farouk, President of Egyptian Television, in addition to honoring Professor Dr.Hussein Amin, Director of the Kamal Adham Center for Television and Digital Journalism at the American University in Cairo, as an academic figure for the festival.
Distinguished graduation projects from media colleges in public and private universities inside and outside Egypt were honored, including Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, India, the United States of America, Britain, and Nigeria.
The deans of colleges, project supervisors, and students were given honors and awards in various media categories and templates, in addition to amateurs.  
The guests praised the festival, its distinctive events, its artistic and musical segments, and the distinguished organization of the faculty members and the college’s supporting staff
