The Faculty of Mass Communication at October 6 University has obtained the institutional accreditation certificate from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), after the faculty met all academic, administrative, and technical standards approved by the authority.
Professor Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of October 6 University, Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, and the University's Vice Presidents, Prof. Dr. Hesham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Iman El Azizy, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Yasser Dakroury, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Major General Walid Mosharafa, Secretary-General of the University, congratulated the faculty on this achievement, emphasizing the university administration's full support for all its faculties in their pursuit of quality and continuous development, and achieving academic accreditation in various disciplines. Prof. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty, expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the university leadership and the Quality Assurance Center at the university, under the supervision of Prof. Nahed Mustafa, Supervisor of Quality, Classification, and Research Ethics at the university, and Prof. Sawsan Amer, Director of the Center for Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation at 6th of October University, and to the quality coordinators in the academic departments for their tireless efforts in preparing the accreditation file and following up on its implementation.
This accreditation is a testament to academic and educational excellence and a vital step towards keeping pace with international standards, contributing to the preparation of media cadres capable of interacting with the challenges of the era and the requirements of the labor market.
