Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of October 6, and Prof. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, the fourth visit activities were launched as part of a series of visits to students of October 6 Educational Administration Schools to October 6 University.
The visit included the College of Information and Arts of Communication under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zaid, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Arts, where Mr. Sami Kamal Al -Ma’id at the Press Department, and/Omar Sayyid Al -Maid in the Department of Radio and Television, presented a training workshop entitled “The use of artificial intelligence applications in the production of digital and educational content”, the workshop dealt with a theoretical explanation and practical training to introduce students to the basics of intelligence Artificial and how to use it to support the educational process using the latest technical programs.
During the workshop, students trained on how to use artificial intelligence applications in preparing innovative educational digital content, which contributed to enhancing their technical and communicative skills.
At the end of the workshop, the students applied my work by creating national songs about Egypt, where they were divided into two teams: a youth team and a girls team, each team competed to produce the best national song using artificial intelligence techniques, which gave the spirit of challenge and enthusiasm between them.
A jury consisting of professors of the Faculty of Information from the three departments assumed the task of evaluating the songs, namely Dr. Amr Radi, the teacher in the Public Relations and Advertising Department, Dr. Sarah Abdel Aziz, the teacher at the Press Department, Dr. Enas Al -Saeed, the teacher at the Public Relations and Advertising Department, and Dr. Diaa Abdullah, the teacher at the Department of Radio and Television.
The arbitration result resulted in the two teams tied by 50%, and all students were honored in appreciation of their creativity and effective participation.
The visit concluded by honoring students with certificates of participation in the small media training program by Professor Dina Farouk Abu Zaid, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Arts, in the presence of faculty members.
The students expressed their great happiness with this practical educational experience, praising the motivational and creative atmosphere in the training program, and stressing that the visit added to them communication and media skills and a deeper understanding of the media roles and functions.
