More than forty prominent figures in the fields of media, art and creativity participate with media students at 6th of October University in their celebration of the start of the new academic year.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of 6th of October University, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Yasser Dakroury, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research.
The Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at the university, headed by Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty, organized a reception for new students with the participation of more than forty prominent figures in the fields of media, art and creativity.

The ceremony began with a speech by Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, in which he welcomed the guests and students, and stressed the role of the Faculty of Media as one of the distinguished edifices at the university. He was then presented with the Faculty Shield in appreciation of his efforts and continuous support, and a speech by Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty, who welcomed the students, stressing the importance of benefiting from the university stage in developing scientific and practical skills that qualify them to excel in the labor market The ceremony also witnessed the honoring of participating media figures who praised the role of the university and the College of Media as a pioneering educational edifice.

The ceremony witnessed the wide participation of prominent figures in art, journalism, radio and television, advertising, and digital content creation, which added great value to the celebration and provided students with the opportunity to communicate directly with high-level professional experiences;

The ceremony included a joyful musical segment presented by the artist Ahmed Ibrahim (guitarist) and sung by the young singer Farida Obaid, and a singing segment by the student Maryam Muhammad at the Music Club. The fourth year students in the Public Relations and Advertising Department also took the new students on an introductory tour inside the university to learn about its various facilities and activities.
