Visit of a delegation of African media professionals and journalists to 6th of October University, organized by the Faculty of Media and in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Organization
Media.
Within the specialized course for English-speaking African media professionals of the Council's Center for Media Training and Studies.
Under the patronage of A.Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, A.Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and A.Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
The College of Media and Communication Arts was organized under the chairmanship of A.Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the College, visited the African delegation of different African nationalities.
They were received and welcomed by A.Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University.
The college shield was presented to the Chairman of the Supreme Media Council, Eng. Khaled Abdel Aziz, and a shield to the Secretary-General of the Council, Counselor Yasser
Temple.
The visit program included a lecture given by A.Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media, on (Constructive and Positive Media and Journalism), and they toured the university museums under the supervision of Mr.Dr. Ghada Ali Hammoud, Dean of the College of Tourism and Hotels and Organization A.Dr. Rasha Omran Omran, Head of the Tourist Guidance Department, A.M.Dr. Mervat Maher, Assistant Professor of Tourist Guidance, and Mr. Murad Shawkat, Teaching Assistant in the Guidance Department. Practical training was also provided in the Faculty of Media studio, as well as a tour of the university to learn about the various faculties and facilities. Practical training was also provided in the television and radio studios at the Faculty of Media, and the production of television and radio segments and interviews The visit concluded with the participation of faculty members and supporting staff in friendly sports matches in the university's football, volleyball and basketball stadiums, coordinated and attended by Professor Ahmed Allam, Director of the University's Youth Care Department, and Captain Hussein El Gamal.
The visit was supervised by the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, Ms. Heba Magdy.
The organization and coverage were carried out by Mr. Renal Awida, Mr. Fatima Mahmoud, Mr. Alaa Hilal, Mr. Ahmed Ashraf, and Mr. Angham Fares from the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts.
Professors from the university's Faculty of Tourism and Hotels provided the delegation with rich information about Egypt's history throughout the ages during their tour of museums.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed its great happiness and praised the good reception and hospitality, hoping to repeat this meeting
