As part of the college's keenness on field training for students of the Journalism Department, the Journalism Department organized a field visit to the Dar Al Maaref Publishing, Distribution and Printing Foundation, to learn closely about the stages of production of journalistic publications and books.
The visit began in the editing and press production hall, where the students learned about the mechanisms for preparing press materials, coordinating and producing pages, and preparing them for publication. Then they moved to the color collection and separation section and the editing processes, which are among the most important stages of preparation before printing.
The tour included a visit to the printing presses, where the students watched the printing stages and the publications coming out in their ready-to-distribute form.
