Students of the Faculty of Mass Communication, 6th of October University achieve advanced positions in the "Al-Ahd" competition at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
In a new achievement added to the balance of academic excellence and student creativity, the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University was established under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the College, three distinguished awards were won within the activities of the third edition of the Covenant Competition, which is implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, headed by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, in cooperation with the Moral Affairs Department of the Egyptian Armed Forces, through three student projects that excelled in different categories; where the "Camouflage" project was won under the supervision of A.M.Dr. Marwa Sobhi, Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, academic supervision, Dr. Yasser Al-Ansari, external supervision, Mr. Renal Al-Sayed, and Mr. Ghada Abdel Ghani won first place in the Public Relations and Advertising category. The "Al-Watad" project also won second place in the Journalism and Printing Works category under the supervision of Mr.M.Dr. Shaima Abu Mandour, academic supervision by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Majeed, Dr. Rashid Salah and Mr. Ahmed Gamal
Mr. Omar Hassanein, external supervision, while the "Song on the Covenant" project won the position of best song in the television and visual works category under the supervision of Mr.Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, and academic supervision by Mr.M.Dr. Asmaa Masoud, Mr. Mohamed Alawi, and Mr. Reem Al Masry.
This victory comes as a culmination of the efforts of the Faculty of Media, 6th of October University, in supporting the capabilities of its students to innovate and produce integrated media, and enhancing their participation in national initiatives that raise Egypt's name high in youth and creative forums
