Participation of the Faculty of Media at 6th of October University in the visit of international students to the Media Production City.

 

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, and Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts participated in the visit organized by the University's Expatriates Department for 6th of October University's expatriate students to the Media Production City, within the framework of cooperation with the Central Administration for Expatriates Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education within the «Study in Egypt» and «EGAID» initiatives.

The visit aimed to introduce international students to the Egyptian media environment, and to inform them of the studios, open filming areas, and advanced technologies in the fields of sound, image, and content creation that the Media Production City includes.

The students of the College of Media participated in the university delegation, as the visit provided them with an opportunity to learn about the working mechanisms within the largest media edifice in the Middle East, and to learn about the artistic capabilities used in the fields of media, cinema and the arts.

The students were accompanied from the college by Dr. Kholoud Maher, a teacher in the Journalism Department
