Within the framework of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University's keenness to provide effective field training for fourth-year students in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, the department organized a field visit to the "Consumer Protection Agency" with the aim of providing students with practical experience on work mechanisms within official institutions.
The student delegation was received by:
* Ms. Rasha Hussein, Director of the General Administration in the Office of the Head of the Agency's Affairs.
* Ms. Sarah Ashour, awareness and advertising specialist.
* Ms. Asmaa Al-Far, Training Center Officer.
During the visit, the agency's officials gave a comprehensive introductory presentation on the role of the Consumer Protection Agency in monitoring markets and controlling illegal commercial practices, in addition to reviewing the system for receiving citizens' complaints and the mechanisms for dealing with them. The students also participated in interactive discussions during which they presented the most important aspects of benefiting from the visit.
The students were accompanied during the tour by Mr. Mustafa Abdel Sattar, Director General of Legal Affairs, while Ms. Sarah Nabil, Teaching Assistant in the Public Relations and Advertising Department, coordinated the visit.
