The Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University organized a symposium entitled "Corporate Communication Skills" under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Deputy
President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, under the supervision and presence of A.Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the College, lectured by Dr. Amira Adel, Head of Media Relations at the Corporate Communications Department at the Central Bank and a graduate of the College.
 
The symposium addressed a set of basic topics in corporate communication, including media relations, its role in communicating with the media, media editing skills, and drafting official statements accurately and professionally, in addition to internal and external communications to enhance coordination between departments and translation activities to expand access to international audiences. The skills of organizing conferences and major events, corporate visual identity and its role in enhancing the organization's image, and media campaigns as a tool for delivering strategic messages and managing communication in times of crisis to ensure continuity of communication with confidence and effectiveness were also discussed. These topics contributed to giving students a comprehensive and integrated vision of how to implement institutional communication and manage critical events and situations within major institutions.
