The Crisis and Disaster Committee at the Faculty of Mass Communication, 6th of October University implements a training evacuation plan for students.

 

Sponsored by A.Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, and Mr.Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, under the supervision and presence of A.Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, the Faculty implemented a training plan for evacuation as part of the activities of the Crisis and Disaster Committee.

 

Coordinated by Dr. Diaa Abdullah, Committee Officer, and Mr. Rana Shaker 

Mr. Angham Fares, members of the committee, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, with the aim of training students on how to evacuate buildings in emergency situations such as: crises and fires.

The training was also carried out in cooperation with the university's industrial security officials, where the alarm bell was sounded and the evacuation process began, with students directed to emergency exits and to stay away from buildings, and an external ambulance was called to implement a practical scenario that simulates reality.

 

The experiment started at exactly eleven o'clock in the morning and continued for thirty minutes, then the students returned to complete their lectures regularly. The event witnessed the participation and presence of the faculty members and the supporting staff, in addition to great interaction and clear approval from the students
