The annual photography exhibition will be opened for journalism students at the Faculty of Mass Communication, 6th of October University.
The Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University organized the annual photography exhibition with the distinguished participation of more than 100 press photos taken by fourth-year students in the Journalism Department, as part of the photojournalism course, within the framework of the faculty's support for practical application and developing students' professional skills.
The exhibition was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, and Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and under the patronage and attendance of Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts.
The photos were the result of the students' creativity under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Majeed and Ms. Israa Hamama. The displayed works reflected the diversity of journalistic topics and the students' ability to employ elements of the journalistic image professionally, reflecting visual awareness and a purposeful media message.
This event comes within the framework of the college's keenness to combine theoretical study with practical application, and to provide students with the opportunity to display their media production in a way that contributes to refining their experiences and enhancing their professional capabilities
