Honored by His Excellency Professor Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of 6th of October University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Faculty of Media and Communication Arts

 

Within the framework of supporting environmental sustainability efforts within 6th of October University, His Excellency Professor Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, honored the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts within the university's faculties in appreciation of its distinguished efforts and effective participation in the “Best Environmentally Friendly University” competition, which contributed to the university obtaining first place. The certificate of appreciation was received by Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts.

 

6th of October University won first place in the private universities category in the Best Environmentally Friendly University Competition for the academic year 2024/2025, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

 

The results of the competition were announced during the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, which was held at Suez Canal University, headed and attended by Professor Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with the participation of Professor Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities.

 

The Minister of Higher Education honored the winning universities and handed over the shields to the university presidents. The shield of 6th of October University was received by Professor Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

 

This achievement is the culmination of 6th of October University's ongoing efforts to raise environmental awareness, establish a culture of sustainability, and implement best environmental practices on campus.
