English language training workshop for members of the Faculty of Media, 6th of October University.

 

The College of Media and Communication Arts organized a training workshop entitled:

(Common Mistakes in Spoken English in Daily Conversation), on Sunday 2/1/2026 AD, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the College, within the framework of the College's interest in developing and enhancing the skills of faculty members and support staff.

 

The workshop was presented by Dr. Nesma Salem, a lecturer at the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, where she discussed a number of common mistakes in using the English language in daily conversation, including the incorrect use of some verbs, common mistakes in pronouncing words, in addition to employing inappropriate vocabulary in the context of conversation.

The workshop witnessed the attendance and participation of a number of faculty members and supporting staff from various departments of the college, in an interaction that reflects the college's keenness to raise the linguistic and academic level, which contributes to developing the educational process.
