Training workshop on the international classification of members of the Faculty of Mass Communication, 6th of October University.

 

Today, the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts organized a training workshop entitled (International Classification of Universities) under the patronage of Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty, as part of the Faculty's interest in developing and enhancing the skills of faculty members and supporting staff.

 

The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, a lecturer in the Public Relations Department, in the presence of a number of faculty members and support staff.

 

The workshop addressed the concept of international university rankings, their most prominent standards, and their role in evaluating the academic and research performance of educational institutions, in addition to reviewing the most important approved international rankings and the evaluation mechanisms that are relied upon to measure the quality of education, scientific research, and community service.

 

The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from the audience through discussions and asking questions that focused on mechanisms for developing academic and research performance and the role of faculty members in supporting universities' efforts to raise their position in international rankings.
