 The great journalist Suhair Shalabi in a symposium at the October 6 Media.

 
Today, the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October Media University hosted the great broadcaster Suhair Shalaby in a symposium organized by the faculty. She was received and welcomed by Professor Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty.
During the meeting, the great media personality Suhair Shalaby talked about her long experience in media work, reviewing the most prominent experiences and expertise she went through throughout her media career, and she stressed that the media no longer depends on talent alone, but rather needs a combination of broad culture, technical skill, and the ability to keep pace with the tools of the era.
 
The great journalist Suhair Shalabi also gave a set of important advice to students of the College of Media, calling on them to benefit from their years of study in refining their skills and gaining field experience that qualifies them to compete in the labor market, stressing that commitment and professionalism are the basis of a journalist's success.
 
The symposium comes within the framework of the interest of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University in linking academic study with professional experience, and providing its students with the opportunity to interact with the most prominent media figures in Egypt and the Arab world, which contributes to preparing a generation of media professionals who possess vision, skill and modern knowledge.
 
On the sidelines of the symposium, the great media personality Suhair Shalaby judged the third edition of the "Golden Voice" competition, which was held by the college to choose the best media voices among its students. The first place was won by the student Maryam Abdel Aziz, the first place was won by the student Israa Al-Ghanimi, and the first place was won by the student Dana Hazem. 
The great media personality Suhair Shalabi was honored, and Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the College, presented her with the College Shield in appreciation of her distinguished media career.
The symposium was organized by Dr. Fatima Abu Al-Futouh, teacher in the Radio and Television Department, and Mr. Fatima Mahmoud, assistant teacher in the department.
