6th of October Media hosts online from China the Egyptian broadcaster on Chinese TV, Mustafa Kafafi.

 

Under the patronage of A.Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, and Mr.Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Mr.Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, 6th of October University, organized today an online seminar from China with the Egyptian broadcaster on Chinese Arabic-language television, Mr. Mustafa Kafafi, in which he discussed «the skills of the news broadcaster on international channels». Professor Mustafa Kafafi also discussed in the seminar the skills of news delivery, work mechanisms within international newsrooms, standards of professionalism and neutrality In addition to the requirements for media work in global multicultural channels, and how to qualify the Arab broadcaster to compete in this field.

 

The symposium comes within the framework of the College of Media and Communication Arts' keenness to enhance the skills of its students and inform them of successful international experiences, which contributes to preparing media cadres capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in global news media.

The symposium was coordinated by Dr. Rashid Salah Abu Ramia, a lecturer in the Journalism Department.
