Conclusion of the mobile journalism course with the participation of academics and media professionals from inside and outside Egypt.

 

Today, the Media Training and Consulting Center at the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University concluded the activities of the training course on mobile journalism, in which Professor Osama El-Deeb, a media expert and specialist in mobile journalism, lectured.

The course was held online over two days, with the attendance and participation of faculty members from Egypt and outside Egypt, as well as auxiliary staff from public and private universities, in addition to a number of media professionals, under the supervision of A.Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center, and Dr. Sara Abdel Aziz, Director of the Center, coordinated and organized by the Center's work team represented by Dr. Kholoud Maher, Dr. Marina Nabil, and Mr. Fatima Mahmoud.

The course included providing intensive applied training content on mobile journalism, including the basics of producing journalistic content using a mobile phone, types of press shots and methods of employing them visually, in addition to training on the most important mobile editing applications and programs, and how to prepare an integrated journalistic story suitable for publication on digital platforms and social media sites.
