The Faculty of Mass Communication at 6th of October University participates in the medical convoy in the village of Minya, Al-Saff Center.
The Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University participated in the medical convoy organized by the university under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in Minya Village, Al-Saff Center, Giza Governorate, within the framework of the university's community role and its keenness to support health and service initiatives in various regions.
This participation reflects the university's commitment to its community mission, and its keenness to employ academic expertise in serving development issues, especially in vital sectors such as health, confirming the university's vision of integrating the academic aspect with field work and community service.
The caravan is part of a series of activities and initiatives implemented by the university to serve the local community in Giza Governorate, based on its social responsibility and development role. The caravan included some recreational activities for the village's children, such as coloring and distributing gifts.
The faculties of medicine and surgery, pharmacy, dentistry, health sciences technology, applied arts, media and communication arts participated in the convoy.
The convoy was attended by Ms. Salma Ashraf, Teaching Assistant, Radio and Television Department, and Ms. Israa Mohamed, Teaching Assistant, Press Department, from the Faculty of Media. The participation came in support of the medical, organizational, and media efforts accompanying the convoy, which contributes to spreading health awareness and enhancing communication
