The Faculty of Mass Communication, 6th of October University celebrates Mother's Day.
Today, the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University organized a celebration on the occasion of Mother's Day, in an atmosphere of joy and appreciation for the role of women, in the presence of the faculty's leaders, faculty members, and support staff.
Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the College, honored the female faculty members in appreciation of their academic contributions and prominent role in supporting the educational process, in addition to distributing gifts to the women and girls from the faculty members and supporting staff, as an expression of gratitude for their continuous efforts within the College.
The event included speeches that addressed the virtue of the mother and her great position in society, where the speakers emphasized the pivotal role played by Egyptian women in building the family and raising generations, as well as their effective contributions in various fields of work and development.
The attendees expressed their happiness with this kind gesture, which reflects the college administration's appreciation for women, stressing that celebrating Mother's Day represents an opportunity to renew feelings of respect and gratitude for every Egyptian mother who contributes to creating a better future.
The celebration was organized and coordinated by Dr. Maha Shabana, Lecturer in the Department of Journalism, Ms. Fatima Mahmoud, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Radio and Television, Mr. Omar Sayed, Teaching Assistant in the Department of Radio and Television, and students who are members of the Sustainable Development Club at the college.
