Visual artist Randa Fouad opens the Sustainable Development Exhibition at the College

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision and presence of Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, today, visual artist Randa Fouad, founder and president of the International Forum for Visual Arts for Development Foundation, opened the Sustainable Development Exhibition for the production of students of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts
This is part of the activities of the College of Sustainable Development Carnival, which is held within the framework of the Environment Week for the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at 6th of October University.
The exhibition includes projects implemented by college students that achieve and express sustainable development goals.
Visual artist Randa Fouad expressed her admiration for the projects and students' ideas that achieve the sustainable development goals, which the state seeks to achieve in the coming years.
On the sidelines of the exhibition and as part of the carnival activities, a symposium was presented entitled (Sustainable Development and the Use of Sustainable Art to Preserve the Environment).
In it, she gave advice to students on how to be creative in ideas that serve environmental development, and talked about her work at the United Nations and the role of the International Forum of Fine Arts Foundation for Development, especially in paying attention to presenting works of art on papyrus, and referred to her important art exhibitions. She evaluated the production of college students at the Sustainable Development Exhibition. The symposium received great interaction from the audience.
At the end of the symposium, Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid honored the visual artist Randa Fouad and presented her with the college shield in appreciation of her role in environmental media, sustainable art, and community work.
