Launch of the 6th of October Media Forum (first edition) entitled Entrepreneurship for Media Students.
Today, the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University organized the first edition of the Faculty Forum entitled Entrepreneurship for Media Students, under the patronage and attendance of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Yasser Dakroury, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision and attendance of Mr.Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts.
Media, art and culture experts and stars were honored:
- Artist and singer Mohamed Al-Alayli.
- Mr. Ahmed Sameh, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation.
-Dr. Lamia Samir, head of the Egyptian satellite channel directed to America.
-Ms. Reham Ibrahim, broadcaster and documentary film director.
-Mr. Essam Kamel, Editor-in-Chief of Veto newspaper and website.
-Journalist Mohamed Ibrahim El-Dessouki, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram Gate and Al-Ahram Al-Masa'i.
-Mr. Sami Abdel Rady, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Nahar Channels and Telegraph Egypt website.
- Journalist Taha Jibril, editor-in-chief of Sada El Balad website.
-Professor Shehata Salama, Beginner Editor-in-Chief.
- Journalist Karim Afifi, presenter of programs on Al-Nahar channel.
- Ms. Marwa Fahmy, Head of the News Department, Military Editor, and Head of the Higher Education and Universities File at Akhbar Al-Youm Portal.
- Ms. Mona El-Wakil, Head of the Equal Opportunities Unit at the General Office of Cairo Governorate.

- Professor Israa Gamal, responsible for the higher education and scientific research file at Al-Dustour newspaper.

-Professor Ahmed Abdullah Moawad, Chief Protocol Secretary at the Saudi Royal Protocol, graduated from the college.
On the sidelines of the forum, guests from experts and stars of media, culture and art opened the Entrepreneurship Exhibition for Media Students, which included emerging projects in various fields for college students within the framework of encouraging them to become entrepreneurs and how to market them. The exhibition included more than 25 emerging projects for college students from its various departments. The projects varied between actual products, application ideas, and digital platforms.
The exhibition was opened by guests, including media, art and culture experts and stars.
Singer Mohamed Al-Alayli performed a group of patriotic songs, in addition to the participation of college students at the Music Club in singing; Maryam Muhammad, Nourhan Eid, and Shahad Sayed. The ceremony was presented by students Baraa Suwaidan and student Dana Hazem.
