Discussion of graduation projects of students of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, Faculty of Mass Communication, 6th of October University, in the presence of an elite group of experts.
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of 6th of October University, Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision and presence of Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at the University, the Faculty witnessed today, Wednesday 5/6/2026, the launch of a distinguished group of graduation projects for students of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, which reflected a deep awareness of contemporary societal issues And the ability to employ modern communication tools to create a positive and sustainable impact, with the participation of an elite group of faculty members as academic, executive and external supervisors. The discussion committee was formed from A.Dr. Hassan Emad Makkawi, Head of the Media Studies Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities and former Dean of the Faculty of Media, Cairo University, Mr. Mohamed Samir Hassan, Director of Marketing and Customer Service Department, Al-Ahram Advertising Agency, Mr. Shabrawy Khater, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MFM Public Relations Company, and Mr. Mahmoud El-Gallab, Chairman of the Board of Directors of El-Gallab Advertising Agency.
The campaigns varied between raising awareness of social problems and behavior change and addressed various issues of concern to segments of society. The "Slimura – Slimura" campaign came as a behavioral awareness campaign aimed at correcting misconceptions about nutrition and promoting a healthy lifestyle based on balance and sustainability, while warning of the dangers of obesity and harsh diets under the supervision of A.M.Dr. Marwa Sobhi and Mr. Israa Ibrahim.
The "Degemania" campaign focused on raising awareness of the impact of social media on adolescents, encouraging safe and balanced use, and enhancing the role of the family in digital guidance under the supervision of Dr. Marina Nabil, Ms. Sarah Nabil, and Dr. Yasser Al-Ansari.
The "Marahash Ala" campaign highlighted the empowerment of women over the age of sixty, by highlighting inspiring success stories that confirm that age is not an obstacle to achieving ambitions under the supervision of Dr. Lubna Bailey, Mr. Aya Miftah, and external supervision by Dr. Reham Embabi.
The "Watin" campaign also addressed the issues of female breadwinners, focusing on supporting them economically, socially and legally, and enhancing their role in stabilizing the family and society under the supervision of Dr. Lubna Bailey, Mr. Menna Al-Shafi'i and external supervision by Dr
