 Two projects produced by 6th of October Media students won the fifth edition of the Media Sciences Festival.

 
The Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University won two awards at the fifth edition of the Media Sciences Festival, where the project “Adam (A Tale of Silence)” won first place in the animation films category, while the project “The Authentic” won second place in the electronic magazines category.
 
The festival is held under the supervision and organization of Dr. Ibrahim Abu Zekry, President of the General Union of Arab Producers, Professor Dr. Sami Al-Sharif, President of the Festival, and Dean of the Faculty of Media at MTI University. Professor Dr. Sami Al-Sharif and Professor Dr. Hassan Imad Makkawi, Chairman of the Media Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, honored the winners, and Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University, received the festival shield. The project “Adam (A Story of Silence)”, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Abu Khashaba, a media expert at Maspero, and Ms. Fatima Mahmoud, an assistant lecturer in the Radio and Television Department, won the first place award in the animation films category.
The “Authentic” project, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Abu Mandour, Head of the Journalism Department, Dr. Kholoud Maher, Lecturer in the Department, Professor Ahmed Sameh, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation, and Professor Ahmed Gamal, Assistant Lecturer in the Journalism Department, also won the second place award in the electronic magazines category.
