October 6 Media Workshop on the Art of Preparing and Presenting Television Dialogue.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision and attendance of Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, the Faculty organized today a workshop entitled The Art of Preparing and Presenting Television Dialogue. The workshop was attended by Prof. Esmat Salem, Senior Broadcaster on Egyptian Television He reviewed the most important professional foundations for preparing and presenting talk shows, in addition to the skills necessary to manage the dialogue efficiently and professionally.
The workshop witnessed practical applications in the field of dialogue management, and students were given the opportunity to ask their questions and discuss their comments about talk show presenters, which contributes to deepening their understanding of the nature of media work and its professional requirements.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Professor Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the College, honored Professor Esmat Salem by presenting him with the University Shield in appreciation of his efforts and distinguished participation.
The workshop comes within the college's cultural season and within the framework of the college's interest in transferring professional and practical expertise and experiences to students to enhance media skills.
The workshop was organized and coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr. Amr Rady in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising and Dr. Fatima Abu Al-Futouh, Lecturer in the Department of Radio and Television, with the participation of Professor Basma Salem, Assistant Lecturer, and Professor Aya Tariq, Teaching Assistant in the Department of Radio and Television.
