 The Crisis and Disaster Management Committee of the Community Service Sector at the Faculty organized under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tarek Abdel Aal Hammad - Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Suzi Rashad - Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs and headed by Dr. Heba Al-Husseini, a seminar entitled "Information Security during Crises", and the activities of the symposium were followed by Mr. Esraa Gamal, a member of the committee, and Eng. Ekramy Gad, a network engineer and technical support in informatics, lectured at the symposium on Tuesday, 22/4/2025, the seminar included introducing the importance of the topic from an expert in information security about Challenges facing digital security in times of crisis as securing information protects the privacy of individuals and institutions, which promotes justice and peace in societies, and effective security systems provide the necessary information for rapid and effective response to crises, which helps reduce the impact of crises on societies.

Eng. Ekramy Gad talked about cyber threats and how to identify the main threats that increase during crises, in addition to protection strategies, providing practical advice to protect data and systems, and allocating time to answer questions from the audience, which enhances participation and interaction.
