Students of the Faculty of Economics and Managment at October 6 University receive practical training at Aman Securities Company
Within the framework of the keenness of the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Managment - October 6 University to enhance the applied aspects and link academic study to the labor market, the first stages of practical training were launched for a group of students of the department in partnership with Aman Securities Company, to train on securities transactions and capital markets.
The training was held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sameh Helal, where the students were provided with an applied and practical explanation of trading mechanisms, types of securities, the latest developments in the Egyptian financial market, in addition to a number of realistic simulations of investment experiences.
This training comes under the auspices of Prof. Tarek Hammad, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Managment , and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Suzi Rashad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Suha Al-Maghawry, Head of the Department of Economics, as part of a series of training initiatives aimed at raising the efficiency of students and qualifying them for the labor market.
The students expressed their gratitude for this opportunity, stressing that they benefited greatly from the training, especially in understanding the practical aspects of their academic specialization, and interacting directly with one of the most prominent players in the stock market.
