The Political Science Department organized a field visit to the headquarters of the State Information Service, today, Sunday, November 23, 2025, within the framework of the Department's keenness to enhance the applied aspect and link theoretical knowledge with the practical reality of students with the aim of introducing students to the roles of official media institutions in supporting decision-making and forming public awareness. Media coverage, and the role of the foreign media offices sector and the mechanisms of communication with international media, as well as explaining the Authority's efforts in confronting rumors and supporting national information security, as well as the awareness programs and community activities implemented by the Authority.
The students showed great interaction during the visit, asking questions that reflect their awareness of the aspects of media work and its role in supporting political institutions and decision-making. The visit concluded with an open discussion with the officials of the State Information Service, and the Political Science Department expressed its appreciation to the State Information Service for the good reception and providing a rich educational experience for the students.
