Within the framework of enhancing cooperation between academic institutions and the industrial sector, the Faculty of Economics and  Management- 6th of October University organized on Monday morning, 9/3/2026, an extensive field visit to the headquarters and factory of "SciB Paint" in the industrial area in the Sixth of October City, with the distinguished participation of our students and a number of faculty members in a step aimed at integrating academic knowledge with modern industrial applications.
The visit included a detailed tour of the factory's corridors, where the students were briefed on the advanced production lines, and listened to a detailed explanation from the factory's engineers and managers on marketing and distribution strategies, and how to manage operational processes efficiently, in addition to the latest paint manufacturing technology, logistics management mechanisms, various cost systems and pricing policies, and strategies for maintaining international quality standards, in accordance with environmental and health safety standards.
The visit also opened the door for discussion between our students and technical experts about the challenges of production, management of major industrial enterprises in the Egyptian market, and investment and growth opportunities in this sector.
The participants expressed their maximum benefit from this experience, which contributed significantly to enhancing their analytical skills and understanding the challenges of the Egyptian labor market, stressing the importance of these initiatives in bridging the gap between theoretical study and professional requirements.
This visit comes as an integral part of the college's strategy to qualify graduates for the requirements of the labor market through direct contact with major industrial institutions.
At the end of the visit, the college administration confirmed in a speech addressed to the participants:
"This visit is not just a reconnaissance tour, but a key pillar of our strategy to build management capable of leading the future. We believe that touching the industrial reality and engaging with those in charge of it is the real laboratory to hone the skills of our students, and deepen the understanding of faculty members to market changes, ensuring a graduate armed with practical experience and academic excellence."
The event concluded with the exchange of commemorative photos and thanking the factory management for their fruitful cooperation in supporting the educational process and qualifying a new generation of innovators in the fields of economics, accounting and management.
