The activities of the second international conference of the Faculty of Nursing, 6th of October University, were launched on 17 and 18/12/2024 under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of 6th of October University, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Yasser Al-Dakrouri, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, in cooperation with Loma Linda University, the Jordanian Nursing Council, Zamak Training Center, the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, and the American Center for Continuing Medical Education, entitled "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Health Care: Opportunities and Challenges." The conference was attended by deans, deputies, and faculty members from nursing colleges at Egyptian public, private, and private universities, as well as from the colleges of 6th of October University. The conference was attended by Prof. Dr. Shadia Abdel Qader, Head of the Nursing Sector Committee, and Dr. Amal Imam, Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society. A distinguished group of speakers in the field of artificial intelligence attended, in addition to giving speeches, scientific sessions, and research on artificial intelligence applications and the positives and negatives of its use. Two workshops were held on the sidelines of the conference on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and on exploring artificial intelligence applications. An exhibition of national and cultural heritage communities was also displayed for expatriate and Egyptian students in the official uniform of the countries. The participants also presented the most famous foods from the participating students, which included Egypt - the Emirates - the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - the Sultanate of Oman - Jordan - Syria - Morocco - Palestine - Sudan - Yemen - Nigeria - Eritrea - Somalia - Chad - Burkina Faso. All attendees praised the title of the conference and the speakers and its distinction in terms of organization. The conference was covered by the media through live broadcasts and press interviews. The conference was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sabah Al-Sharqawi, Dean of the College, and the Secretary-General of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Thuraya Ramadan, the college’s vice dean for community service affairs and the conference rapporteur, Prof. Dr. Naglaa El-Sayed, Asst. Prof. Dr. Iman Abdel Fattah, and Dr. Amira Sobhi
