Vision and mission of the unit

Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, Faculty of Nursing, Sixth of October University

Vision of the Quality Assurance Unit:
To be a leader in implementing comprehensive quality systems and achieving institutional and academic excellence to ensure that the targeted learning outcomes align with institutional and program accreditation standards.

Mission of the Quality Assurance Unit:
To disseminate a culture of quality and promote its practice by building an effective internal system for quality assurance and continuous improvement in accordance with institutional and program accreditation standards.

Objectives of the Unit:

To develop and monitor the implementation of the college's strategic plan, as well as the educational, research, administrative, and consulting processes, and to enhance the institution's contribution to the ongoing national development plan and to serving the local community. This includes opening avenues for cooperation with all members of the community involved in the development and quality of education. Therefore, the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit aims to:

Monitor the implementation of the college's strategic plan.

Disseminate a culture of quality within the college.

Develop the capabilities of faculty members in the field of quality.

Meet the accreditation standards of higher education institutions.

Manage the college's self-study.

Evaluate the college's quality through internal reviews.

Participate in developing improvement plans and corrective actions to overcome weaknesses and address external threats.

Monitoring the work of the unit's committees to implement their established plans.

Reviewing and developing curricula to align with the requirements for ensuring the quality of educational performance, and reviewing programs and courses through the unit's working team and executive team.

Activating the role of student participation in quality assurance efforts within the college.
