In cooperation with the National Heart Institute, the Faculty of Pharmacy activated the summer clinical training at the National Heart Institute from 15/7/2017 to 20/8/2017.

Number of students participating in the training
Thirty sex students from different academic levels were trained, the students were then divided into 3 groups, and each group was trained 8 classes over two weeks for each group.
The training is divided into two parts:
1. General lectures on clinical pharmacology and various activities carried out by the pharmacist in the hospital, the way to search for the information required and the way of calculating the different doses of drugs and drug conflicts with each other. The lectures also included lectures specialized in various heart diseases include the causes of the occurrence of diseases and different ways to treat them.
2. Training within the Institute of Cardiology in order to identify the role of clinical pharmacist in the selection of drugs and dosages.
The training is conducted regularly, professionally and cooperatively by all the participants in the training, whether training officials from the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Heart Institute or the students. The students expressed their admiration and enthusiasm for the training period, expressing their scientific benefit, stressing their acquisition of new skills and experience in dealing with doctors, specialists and patients and the way to deal with them, which qualifies the student to deal with the labor market with all professionalism.
