The fourth year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy - October 6 University, made a scientific trip to the Regional Center for Food and Feed on Thursday 9/11/2017 to analyze the pilot oil obtained from agricultural waste. This is a step of the project of the practical part of the fourth division in the field of drug chemistry in the use of agricultural waste in obtaining raw materials used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
The students analyzed the pilot oil through a gas-chromatography device, and they were introduced to new job opportunities in the pharmaceutical field including work in the Pesticide, Essential Oils and Customs Analysis Centers.
The students moved at 10 a.m. and attended an introductory lecture for the Center and its activities under the supervision of the Training Director and the President of the Center. Then they listened to the explanation of gas chromatography, analyzed the sample and obtained the results.
The Faculty thanks the Regional Institute for Food and Fodder as a chair and Assistants for all their experience and introduction of new jobs.
