The Faculty of Economics and Administration organized a forum entitled " An Open Discussion on the Egyptian Foreign Policy towards the Current International Issues" in the VIP auditorium at October 6 University. The forum was honored by Prof. Dr. Gamal Samy, President of October 6 University, Professor Dr. Tareq Hammad, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration , Professor Dr. Hala Al-Hilali, the Head of the Department of Political Science and His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Aqel, the Former Assistant of Foreign Minister and Egypt's former Ambassador in Palestine and Yemen.
Prof. Moussa Ibrahim Moussa, Vice President of the University for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Ambassador Dr. Magdi Radi, Counselor of Cultural Relations , faculty professors , teaching assistants and students, participated in the forum in which many current international issues were discussed such as the Egyptian-African relations , the impact of Al-Nahda Dam on Egypt water security and the current related negotiations in The USA which include Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia .The forum explained the Israeli role in Africa , the development of the Egyptian role and the restoration of Egypt's status in Africa under the Presidency of Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
In addition , the forum highlighted Egypt's presidency of the African Union and its pivotal role in African issues. To enrich the forum, the honorable guests answered students ’questions about Egypt's attitude towards the "Deal of the Century" and various other issues including fighting terrorism in Sinai, the situation in Libya, and the Egyptian attitude towards Turkish interference in Libya.
