The professors of the Department of Political Science and Economics participated in the sixth conference of the Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science, which was held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 3, 4, 2023 at the college headquarters
And over the course of two days participated:
Prof. Dr. Hala El-Hilaly, Professor of Political Science and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, participated in the sixth conference of the Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science at Alexandria University, which was held on 3 and 4 of this month. And a violation of international legitimacy from the Russian side, as it explained the inability of the United Nations, represented by its main body, the Security Council, to perform its role in stopping the war and achieving international peace and security.
Prof. Dr. Suzi RashadProfessor of Political Science and Vice Dean participated in the first session of the political axis as a commentator on the research presented by researchers, which included five researches that discussed the extent of the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war on international legitimacy, the future of NATO, in addition to its impact on the future of the European Union, as well as psychological research for international crises, and the repercussions of these various crises on the system of concepts in political science.
-In the second session, a paper entitled "The repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian war on the future of the world order" was presented, which dealt with the possibilities of the transition of the world order from uni-polarity to bipolarity or multilateralism, and its impact on international powers, the concept of globalization, state sovereignty and the traditional concept of power.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ghozlan Mahmoud Abdel Aziz participated in the first session of the second day of the conference's activities in the political axis, where she presented a research paper entitled "The repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian war on the United Nations agenda in achieving the goals of sustainable development 2030", through which she addressed the impact of this war on the ability of countries to achieve the desired goals 2030 in the fields of poverty and hunger, education and health, gender equality.
As for the level of the economics department
Dr. Mohamed Abd Rab Al-Nabi and Dr. Hala Ragab participated on the first day of the conference in the second session of the economic axis, which included a presentation of the research submitted by them under the title: The effects of climate change on Egyptian food security.
The researchers were also thanked to the Sixth of October University for the fruitful participation in the activities of the conference.
