Rules of Medical Excuse Sickness Leaves

· The medical excuses sick leaves are not accepted except after submission of the appropriate certificate to The Medical Committee of the October 6 University (After obtaining approval of the Faculty Council).
· The medical certificate must be submitted to the Faculty in a period not less than 48 hours before examination date for accepting absence from a specific exam.
· The approval or refusal of the medical certificate is conveyed to the student within one week of its submission.
· In case of accepting the medical excuse for not sitting a certain exam, the student is allowed to sit for that exam in the following session while keeping his right for full subject evaluation.
· In case of the refusal of the medical excuse for not sitting a specific exam, the student is allowed to sit for the same in the following session, but his evaluation shall not exceed High Passable.
