A team from the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology participated in the medical convoy organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector in Abu Al-Wafa neighborhood in 6th of October City on November 26, 2024.

 
The team conducted medical tests for 200 cases, including analyzing blood glucose, albumin, and uric acid levels, in addition to tests to detect hepatitis C and hepatitis B.
The team also organized an awareness campaign about hepatitis C and hepatitis B, including methods of transmission and prevention.
Special awareness sessions were also held for patients with high blood sugar, to explain how to manage the condition and follow a healthy lifestyle.
The college team was supervised by Dr. Hanan Abu Zeid, Lecturer of Medical Laboratory Technology, and Teaching Assistant/Nancy in the Medical Laboratory Technology Department, and Assistant Lecturer/Reham Mahmoud in the Biotechnology Department.
