"Egyptian Knowledge Bank in collaboration with Springer Nature" Workshop - Wednesday 27/11/2024

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of October 6 University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Temraz - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Deans and Vice Deans for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs faculties of (Dentistry and Applied Arts), a workshop was held  " Egyptian Knowledge Bank in cooperation with Springer Nature" and the activities of the workshop were as follows:
EKB Introduction -How to Register - How to use EKB federated search engine - How to browse resources according to subject - Identify the mechanism for accessing the title of a specific journal, book or thesis - Journal Citation Report- Full text Resource - Open Access Publishing Agreement with SpringerNature- Q/A.
The aim of the workshop was
1. Achieving some sustainable development goals (4, 5, 10) and achieving Egypt's Vision 2030.
2. Urging college students (undergraduate and postgraduate) to:
3. Register in the Knowledge Bank.
4. Maximizing the use of the knowledge bank for students from primary school age to university.
5. Maximizing the benefit of the knowledge bank for graduate students, faculty members and the assisting board.
6. Benefiting from the agreement signed between the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and distinguished publishing houses in different countries such as Springer Nature by publishing research in such scientific journals that have a high impact factor for free.
 The aim of the workshop was
