This course is one of the special courses organized by the Biotechnology Unit for its full contact with the applied and productive field, where genetic cloning is used in the production of bio compounds  such as enzymes and proteins as well as in environmental and agricultural areas such as genetically modified plants, with 310 students from the 4th and 5th Divisions divided into 12 groups. The course was organized within 12 credit hours, through which the foundations of genetic grooming and its applications were explained on the practical side, the genetic material was isolated, from which some genes were isolated and transferred to vectors and then introduced bacterial system to produce biomaterial and included the practical aspect of designing primers using Bioinformatics programs as well as methods of preparation competent cells.
