The Faculty of Education organized its fifth international conference and the eighth for the African Academy of Sciences (AAS) entitled “Mathematics and Information Sciences" and “New Trends in Education." This event is made possible under the auspices of Dr. Ali Taalat, Acting President of October 6 University, Dr. Mahmoud Sakr Head of the Academy for Scientific Research and the Chairmanship of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Atti Deputy of the African Academy for science and the Vice-chairmanship of Dr. Salah El- Din Khedr, Dean of the Faculty of Education. Attendance in the opening session also included Dr. Essam Sharaf Egypt's Prime Minister, Dr. Amr Ezzat Salamah President of the Union of Arab Universities and the Minister of Education, Dr. Nozha El- Yacoubi , President of the African Union of Mathematics, Dr. Magdy Radi Vice President of the Board of Trustees of October 6 University, Dr. Ali Abdel Aziz, Vice President for Higher Education and Research at October 6 University and Dr. Mousa Ibrahim Mousa, Vice- President of Social and Environmental Development. The conference has attracted many scholars from countries all over the world.
