Under the supervision of the. Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy , Prof. Dr. Mohamed Refaat Al-Ghobashi, the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee, in conjunction with the Awareness and Training Committee of the Quality Assurance Unit, held a seminar on awareness of the Green Metrics classification of universities. the lecturer, Prof. Dr.Samir Othman, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development, introduced the international ranking of universities (Green Metric) and explained its importance to the university, the steps of progress and how to collect and arrange university data with pictures and examples and This is to maintain the advanced level that the university has reached where it scored the sixth place at the level of Egyptian universities, ahead of prestigious public universities such as Ain Shams University. On the other hand, the lecturer, Prof. Dr.Samir Othman, spoke about awareness of safe waste disposal, clarified all the steps with an extensive explanation of the application of the different methods of collecting, treating and disposing of waste in a safe manner.
